Aquarium
WiFi 4-Channel Aquarium Dosing Pump MD4.4 (High-Precision Doser)
Product description
Purpose and applications
Ideal for precisely adding calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), alkalinity (AB), or other liquid supplements, the MD4.4 is designed for marine aquarium use where consistent micro-dosing matters.
What’s included and physical details
This package contains the MD4.4 dosing unit with four independent pump heads and a pump holder for aquarium mounting. The unit mounts to glass up to 0.75" thick and accommodates tubing with an outer diameter of 0.3". Overall device dimensions measure approximately 8.75" × 3.2" × 2.8".
Performance and electrical specs
Each of the four channels can be set to deliver between 1 and 9,999 ml per day. Timers support up to 24 dosing events daily, and dosing intervals can be configured up to 30 days. Rated power is DC 12V, 8W, with a stated maximum flow (Q max) of 50 (L/m) and a head height (H-max) of 1.5 m (4.9 ft).
Control and compatibility
The MD4.4 connects via 2.4 GHz WiFi and supports iOS and Android devices through the manufacturer’s app; manual control is also available on the unit. Programming allows different volumes and schedules per channel, making it suitable for staggered or stagger-free dosing routines.
Pros
- Four independently programmable channels
- Wide per-channel dosing range (1–9,999 ml/day)
- Compact mount fits up to 0.75" glass
Cons
- Reported WiFi connectivity problems by some users
- No official 5 GHz support — 2.4 GHz only
- Flow and head specs may be confusing on label
VerdictThe MD4.4 delivers multi-channel, programmable dosing and convenient remote control for reef tanks, with a compact mounting kit and fine dosing range. Connectivity reports are mixed — many users struggle to maintain a stable wireless link — but for aquarists focused on precise, repeatable chemical additions it offers a feature set that’s hard to ignore at this price point.

Doesn't dose on schedule — avoid
Terrible performance: it failed to deliver at the set times and missed scheduled doses. Don't waste your money on this unit.

Channel failed after a short time
Bought this pump a couple months ago for my reef setup. When I installed it today one of the four channels stopped working even though the unit is practically new. Very disappointing.

Connectivity and dosing fail under disconnect
This device won't stay hooked to Bluetooth and refuses to connect to WiFi. It won't dose unless the app is linked. Save yourself hassle and opt for a more reliable brand — I'd give negative stars if I could.

Won't maintain a WiFi connection
I couldn't get this model to join my wireless network. My router is 2.4 GHz only, so it wasn't a 5 GHz conflict. The unit broadcasted its SSID but never completed the connection. I spent hours troubleshooting and it still wouldn't pair, though another Jebao pump worked fine with the same app. Lots of reports online of connection failures — I recommend waiting for a fix.

Cannot pair with iPhone or Android
Same connectivity issues others have described. I tried both iPhone and Android devices with no success. I even attempted setup from an area without internet to bypass network conflicts, but it still wouldn't connect.
