Well made but remove old one first

This unit is hefty (about 1318 g) and well finished. Removing the original cylinder took more effort than I thought, but installation was straightforward once the seat was aligned. It feels responsive when you sit and isn’t noisy. The shipped length I measured was about 14.5" including the tip, and the package only contained the cylinder itself.
