Black Heat Transfer Vinyl Roll — 12" x 20ft HTV for Apparel
Product description
Value roll: This product comes as a single 12 inches by 20 feet roll of black heat transfer vinyl. Choosing a 20ft roll reduces the cost per foot significantly — roughly half the expense compared to typical 5ft HTV rolls, making it a sensible pick if you do many projects.
Cutting and weeding: The vinyl is formulated to slice cleanly and lift away from the carrier without excessive tearing, which speeds up both intricate and larger designs. It responds to correct temperature and pressure, allowing dependable transfers onto garments when heat-pressed or ironed properly.
Adhesion and wash durability: The adhesive bonds tightly to fabric and maintains appearance after repeated laundering. In home wash testing at 40°C for over 50 cycles of 30 minutes each, designs stayed colorfast and showed no peeling or cracking.
Compatible fabrics and use: Suitable for athletic mesh, cotton, polyester, cotton blends, lycra/spandex and many textile types. Use it to customize t-shirts, tote bags, sportswear, aprons, hats and pillows — anywhere a smooth, durable black decal is needed.
Sizing and machine compatibility: The 12" x 20ft dimensions make it easy to cut into logos, lettering or artwork and fit nicely on 12x12" and 12x24" cutting mats. The vinyl works with most desktop cutter models and electronic die-cutters.
Extras and support: The roll can be trimmed to suit your projects and is ideal for personalized gifts for holidays and anniversaries. Customer support is available if you encounter issues or are dissatisfied with the product.

Very difficult to weed on big jobs. Tears into tiny pieces unless you’re extremely careful.

Adjust press for best results
Initial press at higher temp failed; lowering the heat and shortening time with a hot peel fixed it. Adheres nicely and finishes smooth.

Cuts both solid and glitter consistently
Both solid and sparkle sheets have been reliable for me. Small details lift cleanly, and using the same cut settings for both saved time on bulk orders.

Flock version caused problems
The flock-style material didn’t cut cleanly on my machine despite multiple tries — cost me time and material.

Looks well made and weeds very easily. Still need to test long-term durability, but initial use was great.

Good for beginners — follow cutter settings
New to HTV but this worked out. Cut on a compact cutter with recommended settings, weeded fine, and the sticky clear carrier helped hold pieces in place.
