Bluesea 20FT Dryer Vent Cleaning Kit — 7-Piece Lint Brush Set
Product description
This dryer vent cleaning kit is supplied as a 7-piece set that includes 15 flexible metal shafts which combine to reach up to 20 feet, a multi-use synthetic brush head sized for typical dryer ducts, a lint-trap brush for the interior filter, a metal drill attachment for powered use, a heavy-duty clog removal tool, a vacuum cleaner adapter, and a dryer adapter.
The rods are built to resist corrosion and maintain a bright finish, and they are designed to be flexible enough to navigate bends while still offering enough stiffness to push a brush through elbows. The synthetic brush and clog tool clear compacted lint and debris; the lint-trap brush helps clean the interior of the dryer's lint screen.
Assembly is simple: line up the rod joints and twist clockwise to lock sections together. The system tolerates bends over 90 degrees and can be used manually or paired with a drill via the included metal drill coupling. When using power, run the drill at low speed and engage the clutch to reduce torque on the joints.
Adapters let you attach the kit to a shop vacuum, electric blower, or even utilize the dryer's own airflow to evacuate loosened lint. Regular cleaning reduces drying times, lowers energy use, and can extend the appliance’s lifespan. If any issues arise, customer support is available to assist with replacement parts or guidance.
Pros
- Long reach with 15 rods up to 20 feet
- Includes vacuum and dryer adapters for cleaner operation
- Works manually or with a drill for faster cleaning
Cons
- Rod connections can bind or break if used aggressively
- Requires careful drill speed and clutch use to avoid damage
- Build quality varies; some users needed replacement parts
VerdictA comprehensive kit that reaches deep into dryer ducts and offers useful adapters for vacuums and blowers. The set is effective for most household vent runs and can be used with or without a drill to remove dangerous lint, improving drying times and safety. Some users report occasional rod binding or breakage at the connections, so operate at low drill speeds, use the clutch, and handle connection

Solid value and easy to use
Good value, arrived quickly, and performed well for my needs. Simple to assemble and effective on a routine clean. Recommend.

Avoid reversing the drill
This thing pushed through a plugged duct and navigated a sharp 90 with no problem. I didn’t use the vacuum adapter but it seems useful. One strong warning: don’t run the drill in reverse while it’s inside the duct or you risk losing the bit or attachments down the line.

Also great for pool filter tubes
I used it with a hand drill to clear algae from above-ground pool filter tubes. With a bit of soapy water the rods and brush cleaned them out extremely well.

Happy with the outcome
As advertised — it did the job I needed. I wrapped duct tape around each joint as an extra precaution since this is a DIY-grade tool and pieces can snap if you push too hard or run the drill too fast.

Surprisingly effective and vacuum-ready
Handled my 22 ft run with a 90 and a couple 45s. The vacuum adapter fit my 2.5-inch shop vac so I could vacuum as I pushed the rods, which minimized mess. Compared to another kit I tried, these rods were stiffer and the brush larger, and they cleaned more thoroughly without folding up in the duct.

Can clear serious clogs but connectors are fragile
It hooks to a standard drill and has plenty of shafts for long ducts. The clog-busting head cleared a squirrel-cache clog I didn't expect. Everything packed back into the small box for storage. Downside: the shaft connection points can snap if you have tight corners or push too hard, and reversing can detach pieces inside the duct. Handle connections carefully when adding sections.

Edited: Customer support sent replacements
Initially some poles tightened so much they wouldn’t unscrew after use and I thought the kit was now a single long rod. I contacted support and they sent replacement parts for the stuck sections. Problem fixed — appreciate the response and parts.

Removed a dangerous lint buildup
It works. Pulled out tons of fluff that posed a fire risk and now the dryer runs much more efficiently and safely.

Good for long runs when used slowly
I bought the longer model for what I thought was a 27 ft run and ended up with about 30 ft including several elbows. The brush worked through numerous turns — most resistance was at the adjustable elbows near the dryer. It cleared lint even with about 225 degrees of turns in the first few feet. Tip: run the drill in low gear and set the clutch low so the rods don’t get overstressed; steady, slow pressure prevents snapped sections.

Handy for DIY dryer maintenance
Worked really well — the ducts looked clean and shiny inside afterward. With a cordless drill and a good shop vac you can avoid hiring a pro; this kit gives you the tools they typically use.

Does the job if you're patient
My dryer showed a blocked-vent icon. The line runs through several elbows to outside, so I worked from the exterior. I started with just two rods and ran the drill forward at low speed. It fed in fine, though pulling the setup out was tougher because my drill lacks a tight chuck. If you have a drill with a secure chuck it should perform better.

Bent and ineffective for my use
This kit didn’t work for me — the shafts bent and stayed bent while trying to feed them through the duct. I followed setup videos and still had no success. Ended up discarding it.
