Organic Insecticide Concentrate (16 oz) for Indoor & Outdoor Plants
Product description
What’s included and volume
This item is a 16 fluid ounce liquid concentrate meant to be diluted before use. The concentrate yields up to 16 gallons of finished spray when mixed at the rates printed on the bottle.
Target pests and mode of action
Formulated to reduce populations of common indoor and garden pests — fungus gnats, aphids, spider mites, whiteflies and mealybugs — the solution penetrates foliage and the soil surface to interrupt pest life stages. It’s a biological formula rather than a synthetic pesticide, intended to lower pest numbers while supporting a balanced microbiome around roots.
How to mix and apply
Follow the dilution instructions on the label for your specific plant types. Mix into water using the recommended measure, then apply until foliage and soil surface are evenly wet with a pump sprayer, trigger bottle, or watering can. For soil pests, drench the top layer; for foliage pests, thoroughly spray leaf undersides as directed.
Treatment schedule and uses
Single applications often miss eggs or newly hatched pests, so repeat treatments on the schedule indicated on the label. Treat new or recently repotted plants and apply before bringing outdoor plants inside. The concentrate is formulated for containers, raised beds, edible gardens and greenhouse collections.
Safety and storage notes
Read and follow all label instructions. Do not store mixed spray for long periods; prepare only the amount you will use and clean sprayers after use. The product is intended as a lower-residue option but still requires careful handling per directions.
Pros
- Covers soil and foliage pests
- Concentrated — covers many gallons
- Biological formula that supports soil health
Cons
- Needs repeating to catch eggs and larvae
- Not effective on some tough beetles
- Mixed solution can develop residue if stored
VerdictThis liquid concentrate handles a broad range of common plant pests and is formulated to work through foliage and soil without leaving synthetic residues. It’s economical in coverage and suited to pots, beds and greenhouse collections, but it requires repeated treatments to reach eggs and emerging generations. Not effective against certain tough beetles; some users report storage or sprayer-cloggi

Reliable and easy to use
Acts quickly and can be applied during hot weather (unlike neem oil). Simple to measure and mix.

Highly effective for large collections
If you’re exhausted by fungus gnats, give this a try. With 150+ indoor plants I treated everything twice using two bottles and followed the directions. I even mixed in plant food with the watering solution. Several plants that looked poor before responded well — it likely killed other hidden pests too. It takes a few weeks of treatments but yielded clear improvement.

Fungus gnats finally under control
I care for 57 houseplants and battled fungus gnats for years with nematodes, diatomaceous earth, sticky traps and homemade brews. This insecticide + fungicide combo was the first to truly reduce the problem. I mix a few capfuls into my watering can monthly and use sticky traps to monitor any flare-ups. I now reorder it on a regular schedule; it’s not the cheapest option I tried, but it’s very convenient.

Does not affect grasshoppers
Nicely packaged set but it had no noticeable impact on grasshoppers in my yard.

Useful insecticide + fungicide pair
This came as a two-bottle set with insecticide and fungicide in 8 oz sizes. The insecticide uses about 2 tablespoons per gallon and each bottle makes roughly 8 gallons; the fungicide needs about 1 tablespoon per gallon and also makes 8 gallons. They can be combined safely. The insecticide handles most listed pests and has no strong odor. Note: it won’t get Japanese beetles — for those you’ll need neem or a pyrethrin product.

Cleared mites but clogged a couple sprayers
Gentle on foliage with no leaf burn; worked on spider mites though they returned after about a month. I found it less effective on gnats than mosquito bits. When mixed and stored in a bottle the solution developed a scum that turned into chunks and clogged sprayers, which ruined a continuous mister. Now I mix for watering and use a different product when I need a long-lasting spray.

Underfilled bottle — disappointing packaging
I bought the set hoping for a natural solution, but one bottle arrived noticeably underfilled while still sealed. I haven’t been able to test the garden effects yet because of the missing volume. I reported the issue and left a positive rating to keep my review visible, but the lack of fill was frustrating.
