What’s included
The kit ships with one plug‑in receiver module, a magnetic contact sensor, a sheet of double‑sided foam mounting tape, and a quick‑start manual. The receiver draws mains power while the small transmitter uses a coin cell battery (replaceable). Additional magnetic sensors can be purchased and paired to the same receiver.
Hardware and materials
Both the receiver and sensor housings are molded from ABS plastic with a matte finish. The magnetic transmitter is compact — approximately 1.6 x 0.6 x 0.4 inches — while the receiver measures about 3.2 x 2.1 x 1.4 inches and plugs directly into a standard outlet. The adhesive tape is foam-backed for flush mounting on door or window frames.
Wireless, range and power
This system communicates on 2.4GHz Wi‑Fi only and will not connect to 5GHz networks. For Wi‑Fi setup, place the receiver within roughly 33 feet of the wireless router. The indoor wireless range between a sensor and receiver is about 100 feet under typical home conditions. Sensor batteries are replaceable coin cells; receiver settings (tone, volume, sensor names) are saved in nonvolatile memory so they persist through power outages.
Features and operation
Choose from 20 chime melodies and five volume settings from mute up to about 110 dB. LED indicators show activity and pairing status. Use the Tuya/Smart Life app to add sensors, name them, set individual chimes/volumes, and share alerts with family members. The gateway allows up to 20 paired sensors; only one phone may register the gateway via Wi‑Fi while others receive alerts through app sharing. Optional telephone/SMS alert services may incur fees if used.

Helps with a parent who wanders

Excellent range and flexible setup
Fast delivery and neat packaging. Each transmitter can be given its own melody and volume. I expanded to 16 sensors, and the battery transmitters stick nicely with the included foam tape. Settings are retained after power loss.
