   Disappointed by reliability and support over time

   Don’t be fooled by the initial appearance—after nearly three years of mixed experience across camera and vacuum products, I’ve seen multiple failures after warranty and inconsistent build quality. Replacement costs add up and software updates have sometimes introduced issues. Customer support and update testing could be much better.

   Dependable hardwired camera with solid image quality

   Excellent reliability—works well in Northern California. The app could use cross-camera tracking when someone moves between units, but otherwise it performs consistently. Notifications don’t miss events, LED illumination is effective, and video is clear. The modern design looks good and remote control from the app is straightforward.

   Bright lighting and easy control

   First time using security cameras and I bought two of these. Instructions were clear and setup went smoothly. I like the app controls for lights, motion settings, and detection modes—human, vehicle, or all—so you can limit nuisance alerts. I added an SD card for local recording and avoided subscriptions. The lights are bright even at 50% and the two-way talk works well. Very satisfied and would recommend them.

   Big improvement over my older floodlight cam

   Very pleased with this upgrade. Mounting took a little adjustment to get level, but otherwise setup was fine. I like that the camera locks onto a subject and follows it until it leaves view; my prior fixed-view floodlight stopped recording once the subject moved out of frame, so this is a major step up.

   Very capable — no monthly fees

   Easy to install and great video quality. Detects motion in configured zones and streams to your phone 24/7. I recommend using a 128GB microSD card for local recordings. You can view footage or speak to visitors directly from the app.

   Solid unit for sustained outdoor use

   Good image and straightforward installation. I’ve used it for months through different seasons and it has held up well. Setup with internet or base stations is easy and the build handles outdoor conditions. As long as your network is stable, connectivity is reliable. My only recurring issue has been occasional false human detections from small items or insects despite adjusting sensitivity. Notifications are timely and the software is easy to use—I plan to buy another.

   Noticeable improvements versus older model

   An older version of this camera used to drop offline after updates and had failing LEDs, so I upgraded to the E30. This new unit has much better video, improved stability, and was easier to set up. Eufy made some useful fixes.

   My fourth eufy camera and it works flawlessly. Installation and setup were straightforward. I had one Wi‑Fi quirk which was solved by using a higher-voltage USB cube during setup. Motion detection, pan/tilt tracking, and playback all behave well. No complaints.
