Sold as a pair, the package contains two identical collars—one for each end of a standard Olympic bar. Each clamp is built around a 2-inch diameter opening to accommodate most Olympic sleeves.
The latch mechanism operates with a simple lever: push it down to secure and flip it up to release. This lets you lock plates in place in seconds without having to spin or thread anything. An integrated tension knob allows you to tighten or loosen the clamp so it conforms to slightly different sleeve diameters.
Contact surfaces are padded to reduce abrasion and prevent scratches on plated or painted sleeves. The bodies are molded from a tough nylon resin that resists impact and daily wear while keeping each collar lightweight and portable.
Because of the adjustable tension, these collars can also work on slightly undersized specialty bars (for example, axle-style sleeves close to 1.9 inches) when tightened down. They’re intended for quick on/off use during normal weight training sessions and are easy to operate one-handed.
