This mandoline kit includes the foldable mandoline unit, a removable food-collection container, a cleaning brush, and a set of five interchangeable stainless-steel blades for different cuts (slicing, julienne and dicing). The blades are made of stainless steel for sharp, consistent slices and the main body is molded from high-quality plastic that supports the blades and the folding legs.
The device is compact when folded so it occupies minimal cabinet space. The legs fold down for countertop use and fold back up for storage. The ergonomic handle on the top helps stabilize and guide the food while cutting. The feed slot and food holder keep fingers away from the cutting edge, making it more suitable for household use, including with adult-supervised children.
Changing between the five cutting modes is done by swapping blades into the mandoline’s blade holder — no tools required. The included container fits under the blade to catch slices as they fall, and the small brush is supplied to remove trapped bits from the blade grooves. Most parts disassemble for rinsing to help remove food residue.
This tool is intended for onions, carrots, potatoes and similar vegetables, and can be used for thin slicing, julienne strips and basic dicing. Underwhelming performance
