Intrepid International Black Riding Crop — 26-Inch Rubber-Handled Crop

Good reach and snap
Responsive with a satisfying snap. The extended length improves reach and impact — well suited for leisurely sessions.

Lasted for years
Durable piece that’s held up over time. If mine ever fails, I’d buy another without hesitation.

BRC 5/5
Solid design and surprising control
It arrived in a slim triangular package that hid its full length. The crop reached me in perfect condition. After years of owning a lesser model, this one feels miles ahead — very controllable, from gentle taps up to much stronger strikes. My partner and I have enjoyed testing its range. I can’t speak to decades of use yet, but the workmanship looks sound and it performs exactly as expected.

Best for costume use only
Looks great as a prop, but it snapped very easily despite not being used to strike anything. Not reliable for active use in my experience.

Rick French 4/5
Does what it should
A welcome addition for role play or training. It definitely gets attention on the receiving end and feels robust enough for repeated use.

Excellent build, use cautiously
Very well made and I’m happy with it. If used outside of riding, start gently — this is a serious implement and can cause injury if misapplied.

Very pleased — versatile and effective
Extremely happy with the build and how it performs. It brings a different dynamic to riding and other uses where a longer, responsive crop helps.

High quality but handle with care
Writing this from the perspective of using it as an intimate accessory rather than for riding. The craftsmanship is excellent, and it has a strong new-leather scent. Be aware it can bruise or cut if used hard—I once drew blood. Make sure partners agree to intensity levels before using.
