Solid build and good range
This was my first GMRS handheld after using CBs. The radio is well put together and the audio is clear. I reached a local repeater without trouble and found the range impressive for its size.

Reliable daily use
I've used this for almost a year with zero failures. Reception and range are strong, battery life lasts many hours, and USB-C charging is convenient. The dual-channel buttons are handy once you learn the functions.

Performs where it counts
What matters is reliable transmit/receive, and this radio delivers. Voice comes through loud and clear and the default antenna still gives very good range. It encouraged me to dive deeper into repeaters and antenna builds.

Good GMRS performance, some screen and NOAA quirks
Feels higher quality than several other handhelds I own. Buttons and knobs have good tactility. Hits my 9-mile repeater from inside. Preprogrammed channels and auto low/high settings are helpful. Measured output ranged from very low on some low-power channels to near 4.6 W on high power. Screen had a small blemish on arrival and NOAA reception can be weak at times.
