TOMLOV TM3K-AF Autofocus Coin Digital Microscope with Flex Arm
Product description
Autofocus and Preset Memory
This digital microscope is built with an automatic focusing system that locks onto your subject quickly for crisp live views. Two programmable height presets (P1 and P2) let you store and instantly return to preferred working distances—handy for repeating solder joints or switching between coin faces.
Imaging Hardware
The optical assembly pairs a 38MP imaging sensor with processing that outputs up to 3K-quality images, aimed at rendering detailed, true-to-color results for coins, jewelry, and component-level PCB inspection.
Stand, Arm and Materials
The Gen‑6 flexible arm stand is engineered for smooth multi-directional movement without tightening knobs. The arm uses a metal alloy core for rigidity with a molded plastic housing for the head and display; optics use precision glass elements. The design prioritizes rapid adjustment and stable positioning over long sessions.
Lighting
Two adjustable gooseneck LED lamps are integrated to provide even, shadow-minimized illumination. Brightness and beam aperture are user-adjustable so you can tame reflections on metal or highlight tiny solder fillets.
Display and Connectivity
A built-in 7‑inch IPS display offers a wide color gamut so images stay vivid even under strong light. The unit supports simultaneous output to external displays and devices via HDMI and USB, enabling live sharing to a monitor, TV and PC for teaching, livestreaming or collaborative repair.
Included Items and Typical Use
The package contains the microscope head with integrated 7" display, the Gen‑6 flexible arm stand, dual gooseneck LED lights, HDMI and USB cables, a power adapter, a small sample stage/holder for coins and a user manual. Common uses include coin and jewelry examination, fine soldering and PCB work, forensic or hobbyist inspection, and classroom demonstrations when a shared screen is useful.
Pros
- Fast autofocus with two recallable focus positions
- Large 7" IPS screen with wide color reproduction
- HDMI/USB outputs for multi-display sharing
Cons
- Output limited to 3K (not 4K)

VerdictThe TOMLOV TM3K-AF delivers clear, color-accurate imaging and convenient workflow features aimed at hobbyists and repair technicians. Autofocus is responsive and the P1/P2 preset memory saves repeat setups. The Gen‑6 gooseneck arm makes positioning intuitive, while the dual adjustable LEDs reduce shadows on reflective surfaces. The 7" IPS panel and multi-output capability make it useful for demons

Reliable scope
Excellent unit — performs very well and I recommend it.

Solid stand and useful companion
Sturdy stand and dependable performance. I’m curious how a 3D or 4K model would compare, but this works well for several tasks. I still use a stereo microscope too and wouldn’t give either up.

Compact and effective
Small but powerful — the mini HDMI output looks great on a larger screen!

Quality build and practical replacement
Curious if it could replace my LED lamp and loupe, and it exceeded expectations. Materials feel good from unboxing, the zoom and working distance are comfortable, and it’s overall great value for the functionality.

Returned but clearly capable
I ended up returning it for my own reasons, yet the device is solid for its category. Image quality far surpasses typical school microscopes, it’s intuitive to use and the display is a real convenience for eyeglass wearers. It also lets you inspect objects that can’t be placed on a slide, so it’s great for simple classroom observations like leaves or onion skin.
