What you receive: a metal-bodied retractable cord reel preloaded with a 30 foot SJTW 16/3 extension cable and a 4 foot lead-in cord, plus a swivel mounting bracket, mounting hardware and a short instruction sheet. The housing is steel with a protective finish designed to stand up to workshop use.
Automatic rewind: an internal auto-guide rewind mechanism reels the cable smoothly and rapidly while a ratcheting system lets you lock the cord at any length. A fixed stopper prevents the extension from fully retracting into the drum so the pigtail remains accessible.
Cord and electrical ratings: the main extension is a 30 ft, 16/3 SJTW cable paired with a 4 ft lead-in. The assembly is rated 10A / 125V / 1250W, suitable for typical power tools and small appliances within that limit.
Mounting and access: the included swivel bracket allows up to 180 degrees of movement for ceiling or wall installation, enabling you to pull and release the cord from different angles. It helps clear floor space, reduces tripping hazards and simplifies storage.
Power distribution and protection: a grounded triple-tap pigtail gives three outlets so multiple devices can run at once, and an indicator light shows when power is present. A built-in 10A circuit breaker provides overload and short-circuit protection; press the reset button to restore power after a trip.

Sturdy and convenient for porch use
Very happy with the durability. I mounted it to a cedar post on my back porch to run an electric blower and other temporary tools. Be aware the connector is three-prong; I had to replace older two-prong cords. Retracts smoothly after many uses and the mounting hardware was quick to install. Overall a satisfying purchase.
