Marine
Oasis Marine 2000 GPH 12V Bilge Pump with 1-1/8" Outlet and Float Switch
Product description
Standard 1-1/8" hose outlet for easy replacement — The pump uses the common 1-1/8" (29 mm) discharge fitting found on many 2000 GPH marine bilge pumps, allowing a direct swap for compatible installations. Verify your existing hose diameter before fitting.
Separate float switch supplied — This kit comes with a standalone float switch intended to provide automatic on/off control when installed correctly with the pump. Choose this variation when you require both the high-capacity pump and an automatic float sensor.
Marine-grade construction — Key internal parts include a stainless steel shaft and corrosion-resistant materials, plus moisture-resistant seals and a sturdy outer housing to withstand saltwater and freshwater conditions for routine marine use.
High-capacity 2000 GPH motor — A high-efficiency 12V electric motor delivers up to 2,000 gallons per hour for quick bilge clearing, suitable for medium and larger boats where higher flow is needed.
Anti-airlock features and maintenance access — Built to resist airlock interruptions, the unit includes a snap-lock, removable strainer base for easier cleaning and maintenance. The pump is covered by a two-year limited warranty from the manufacturer.
Pros
- High 2,000 GPH pumping capacity
- Corrosion-resistant build with stainless steel shaft
- Includes separate float switch for automatic activation
Cons
- Float switch reliability has been questioned by users
- Some units reported to fail early
- Must confirm hose size before replacement
VerdictA high-flow 12V bilge pump that moves water quickly and is built with marine-grade components. It’s a convenient replacement for systems using the standard 1-1/8" outlet and includes a separate float switch for automatic operation, though some users report float-switch reliability issues. Overall a strong performer for medium to larger vessels, but consider swapping the supplied float if you need

Inconsistent reliability
The first unit ran about ten hours. The second locked up within 20 minutes, and the replacement also froze in under 30 minutes. Reliability seems hit-or-miss.

Impressive power
Small unit but surprisingly strong flow!

Performs reliably
Operates well and pumps effectively.

Outperforms other brands
Installed around 20–30 of these 2000 GPH units. They outlast and pump better than the Rule units I've used. Strong recommendation.

Pump fine, float failed
The pump worked and even survived being stuck on for under a week, but the float switch stopped working after a couple of cycles and stayed engaged. I removed and shook it thinking placement was the issue, but it never shut off.

Simple install and good value
Very easy to fit and not expensive. It can run dry without damage. My last pump lasted 21 years!

Powerful pump, weak switch
The pump itself is excellent — used as a backup to my 1250 GPH and it would handle heavy inflow. The included float switch, however, is underweighted and can fail to drop, risking the pump running continuously. I’d consider replacing the switch if automatic control is critical.
