NEEWER PA009 Phone Rig Vlogging Kit — Upgraded Video Stabilizer
Product description
This kit centers on an adjustable phone cage that accepts devices from roughly 2.2 to 4 inches wide (56–101.5 mm), accommodating many modern handsets including recent iPhone, Galaxy, and Pixel models for vlogging and live streaming. The frame exposes standard mounting points: multiple 1/4" threaded holes allow connection to tripods, monopods, ball heads, or desktop stands in either vertical or horizontal orientations.
Two foam-coated handles attach via a trapezoidal interface for enhanced stability and a comfortable grip. The handles can be repositioned or angled with the included hex key and mounting screws, allowing portrait or landscape setups and alternate hand placements for steady two-handed operation.
Accessory options are generous: a pair of cold shoe mounts support microphones or LED lights, 1/4" threads accept ball heads and articulating arms, and a rear slot is sized to hold compact wireless transmitters such as the Rode Wireless Go II series. The rig’s holes and cold shoes make it easy to add a microphone, fill light, or monitor for a complete mobile kit.
Constructed from CNC aluminum alloy, the rig resists scratches and impacts while remaining light enough to carry during walks, shoots, or extended livestreams. Typical use cases include YouTube and TikTok vlogging, mobile videography, on-the-go filmmaking, and still photography where extra grip and mounting flexibility are helpful.
Included in the package are the adjustable phone cage, two foam-covered handles, mounting screws and a hex key for adjustments. Assembly lets you configure the cage to your workflow—attach it to a tripod, add a mini tripod or selfie pole, mount lights and a mic, then switch between landscape and portrait shooting as needed.

Solid and practical
Sturdy device that does what it should. Feels well made and has been useful in many setups, though it’s a bit on the costly side for some buyers.

Exactly what I needed and easy to take apart and rebuild in different setups. The modular pieces let me swap configurations quickly between shoots.

Very handy for mobile photo and video work
If you shoot with your phone, this frame gives extra grip and lots of mounting options. I attach a monopole or mini tripod to stand the phone anywhere, and with a cheap Bluetooth remote I can take hands-free shots. Lowering the phone near the ground lets me capture kids playing at their level without bending over.

Very sturdy and roomy
More robust than it looks in photos and plenty of space for accessories. Some people find similar rigs awkward, but I haven’t had any discomfort using it.

Used this for a short film shoot
I shot a three-day short with this rig and found the handles lightweight and comfortable. It gave me control over camera movement and stability — I even preferred it to some gimbal options for certain shots.

Steadier filming and foolproof handling
This rig prevents accidental missed recordings because the phone stays mounted. Buttons remain accessible, and the two handles help maintain a firm, steady shot. Lightweight and easy to remove when needed; I haven’t found any real negatives so far.

Tough and useful
Has taken a lot of rough use and still works great, so I recommend it. The adapters for mics and lights are practical and well suited to mobile setups.

Gimbal-like handling without using a gimbal
Bought for casual home and yard footage and it impressed me. My iPhone 15 Pro Max fits with the case, there are plenty of 1/4" and cold shoe mounts for accessories, and the grips are smooth and comfortable with no rough edges. The two-hand hold lets me mimic gimbal moves for steadier video.

Thoughtful design and excellent filter control — fits iPhone 15 Pro Max in case
This rig is very well built and adapts to my iPhone 15 Pro Max with its case on. The ability to use variable ND filters with a threaded ring changed how I handle exposure in bright scenes and helped achieve a shallow depth of field. The universal fit and sturdy construction make it a reliable tool for mobile video production.

Filter adapter is a great feature for pro-mode shooting
I chose this cage because it includes a 67mm thread for filters in addition to the handles. With a 67→77mm step-up ring I can use my existing camera filters on the phone and get cleaner pro-mode shots. The frame fits a variety of phones rather than being model-specific, and the matte black finish feels solid. Cold shoes and multiple screw holes let me position handles for both portrait and landscape work, and I can angle the grips or mount one on top between the cold shoes for walking shots.

Great tool for content creators and vloggers
High-quality, sturdy build with both portrait and landscape mounting. The frame secures the phone well and gives you cold shoes for mics and lights, plus tripod compatibility. Clever design and solid construction make it a reliable kit for regular use.
