Mixed Model Trees — 29-Piece HO Scale Plastic Scenery Set
Product description
Contents and sizes:
The package contains 29 mixed model trees and shrubs in a range of heights from about 1.5 to 6 inches (approximately 4 to 16 cm). The set is intended for use in model railroad scenery, architectural dioramas, and other landscape layouts where scale greenery is required.
Materials and appearance:
Each piece is molded from plastic with green foliage and brown trunks. The foliage clusters and branch shapes vary across the set to give a natural, uneven canopy when grouped together. No separate stands or bases are supplied with the trees.
How to use them:
These trees can be inserted into foam, putty, or clay bases, or glued onto model bases for tabletop gaming and display. Their compact sizes make them handy for layering in forests, filling corners of a layout, or adding background depth. Because they arrive unmounted, you can fix them permanently or leave them removable for storage and re-use.
Pros
- Wide range of heights (4–16 cm)
- Lightweight and easy to position
- Good variety of foliage shapes
Cons
- No bases included
- Foliage can shed with handling
- Plastic look visible up close
VerdictThis kit delivers a useful mix of small trees and bushes in varying heights suitable for model railroads, dioramas, and tabletop gaming. The plastic construction keeps pieces lightweight and simple to handle; they come without bases so you can glue or press them into foam, clay, or custom mounts. Some foliage can shed if handled roughly, and up close the material looks obviously synthetic, but for

Looks great
These small bushes fit nicely as undergrowth for my 1:12 dollhouse and read well at that scale.

A bit bright
Colors are a touch vivid for my taste. I’ll use them selectively to add pops of green.

Good for mood and season
Works well to create atmosphere. I used two types to suggest spring and winter in a company display, mixing pink-blossom-like pieces with darker foliage for contrast.

Nice range, could use fall tones
Good mix of shapes and sizes. I wish there were more yellow and orange shades for autumn scenes. They disappear quickly into a forest build, so stock up if you’re filling a lot of space.

Grandson approved
My grandson was excited; we stuck them into play dough and they looked really nice in his miniature scenes.

Solid for tabletop terrain
Bought these for D&D scenery. No bases included but easy to mount on clay or foam. A few trunks were bent and some leaf bits came loose, but I reused the scraps as undergrowth. Spraying might reduce shedding.

Great for a school diorama
Bought these for a Narnia school display. Lots of sizes to work with; we filled the background of a shoebox scene and still had extras. A little foliage fell off while handling, but they held up well overall.

Worked well for wargame scenery
Used these for Warhammer 40k terrain. I drilled small holes in plastic bases and glued the pointed ends in for stability. Up close they look plastic, but overall they’re sturdy and shipped intact.
