LEGO Speed Champions Ferrari SF-24 F1 Race Car Building Set

Product description

This kit recreates the Ferrari SF-24 as part of the Speed Champions range. The box contains 275 plastic (ABS) bricks, a single driver minifigure dressed in a Ferrari race suit and wearing a winged helmet, plus sticker sheets for sponsor graphics.

The model echoes the 2024 Formula 1 car with an adjustable rear wing, a halo bar that lifts to open the cockpit, wishbone-style suspension styling and wider rear tyres printed with “Pirelli.” Builders follow printed step-by-step directions or use the LEGO Builder app for guided assembly.

Once complete the finished car measures just over 1.5 in. (4 cm) tall, 8 in. (20 cm) long and 3 in. (7 cm) wide. It’s designed to be both a play vehicle—robust enough for gentle racing—and a display model for a shelf or bedside table.

Recommended for builders aged 10 and up, this set pairs well with other Speed Champions vehicles for family racing sessions or a small collection of modern F1 replicas. The compact size and detailed finishes make it suitable for quick builds and for collectors who enjoy recreating current-season cars.

Pros

  • Faithful 2024 F1 styling and sponsor details
  • Sturdy construction suitable for play and display
  • Includes driver minifigure and opening cockpit

Cons

  • Sticker application can be fiddly for younger builders
  • Some 10-year-olds may need occasional help
  • Contains small parts not for very young children

VerdictThis Ferrari SF-24 Speed Champions set delivers an authentic small-scale F1 model with a playable cockpit and a collectible minifigure. The build balances detail and accessibility: sturdy enough for imaginative racing yet attractive on a shelf. Recommended for older children and adult fans who enjoy hands-on model builds and quick display pieces.

Perfect summer project for car fans

Well organized with numbered bags so each stage is tidy. Instructions are easy to follow and nothing was missing. Though labeled 10+, some 10–11-year-olds might appreciate an adult’s help on trickier steps.

    Ideal for an F1-obsessed kid

My nephew assembled it quickly and immediately started racing it around. The model has held up to lots of play and provided hours of entertainment for a little F1 fan.

Great build that kids can mostly do themselves

Clear steps made this an independent build for my child. Pieces fit together solidly and the finished car withstands real play rather than just sitting on a shelf. It encouraged focus, patience and imaginative racing — then my kid dismantled and rebuilt it multiple times.

Bought it as a quick gift and it arrived in time. The set is engaging without being overwhelming; my nephew built it straight through and loved every minute. Solid quality and dependable instructions made it a safe, successful choice.
