6-Pack Large Tomato Cages — 49" H x 16" W Metal Plant Supports
Product description
Package contents: six complete tomato cage assemblies made from modular tubing: 90 straight tubes (16" length each), 18 pointed tubes (17" length each), 54 horizontal connecting tubes, 30 snap-on plant clips and one pair of protective gloves.
Materials and build: The frame pieces are constructed from thick metal with a PVC coating for weather resistance and rust protection. The design forms a triangular footprint about 16" across, giving a wider base than narrow circular cages for improved lateral stability.
Size and adjustment: Each cage can be built up to 49" tall. You can stack or remove horizontal connector layers and shift them up or down to match plant growth stage, allowing stepwise height increases as vines lengthen.
How to use: No special tools are required. Assemble the tubes with the included connectors (use the gloves provided if needed), position the pointed tubes into soil or pots, and clip vines to the horizontal rings as plants climb. The units are detachable for compact storage and can be reassembled season after season.
Applications: Suitable for tomatoes, cucumbers, peas, pole beans, peppers, eggplants, and many climbing ornamentals. Also works well for container gardening and raised beds where a stable, reusable trellis is desired.

Sturdy, well packaged and height-expandable
Came in good condition and was simple to put together. Very stable once set, and I appreciated the ability to increase height as the tomato vines grew. Three cages supported my large cherry tomato row in a 4' bed with no issues.

Solid materials
Robust enough for regular garden use; I plan to repurchase when needed.

Surpassed expectations, will buy more
Assembly was straightforward and the supports held up well. I didn't get them installed at the ideal time because my plants had already sprawled, but they still worked. Planning to add more for my cucumbers.

Collapsed under heavy cherry tomato load
They didn't support my fully loaded cherry tomato plants — they buckled under the weight. Better suited for smaller or lighter crops.

Perfect for pots — flexible configuration
Ideal for my cucumber containers. I strung twine across the horizontal bars and the vines grabbed on and climbed with no trouble.

Easy to build but reassembly can be a pain
Simple to snap together, but if you disassemble to move them they fall apart easily. Once left in place they perform fine, but transporting them requires patience.

Impressed after a full season trial
I waited until late in the season to post because I wanted real-world results. These held up and kept my plants upright—no sprawling mess. We used a few clamps and a single stake in some cages for peace of mind, though they handled most of the weight on their own.
