Citronella Mosquito Repellent Coils — 20-Pack Outdoor Incense Coils
Product description
This package contains twenty spiral citronella incense coils and a single metal stand to hold them securely while burning. Each coil is formulated with citronella oil as the primary fragrance ingredient and is shaped to burn consistently over an extended period.
When used outdoors—on patios, decks, porches, or around a seating area—each coil is intended to burn continuously for about eight hours, which adds up to roughly 160 hours of total burn time across the whole box. The compact spiral design helps maintain a steady burn while occupying minimal surface area.
To use, separate a coil from the stack, place it on the included metal stand with the outer end lit, and position it away from flammable materials and high-traffic spots. These coils are manufactured for open-air use and are not recommended for enclosed indoor spaces. The set is ideal for gatherings, barbecues, or evening relaxation when insect reduction is desired.
Pros
- Large 20-coil quantity
- Includes a metal stand for safe placement
- Each coil designed for long continuous burn
Cons
- Strong smoke and scent that some find unpleasant
- Some coils reported to burn shorter than expected
- Can produce visible smoke outdoors
VerdictThis 20-piece citronella coil set offers a lot of burn time and a handy metal stand for stable outdoor use. Many users find them effective at reducing flying pests, but the smoke and aroma are strong and some pieces may burn shorter than advertised. Good quantity for regular outdoor evenings, though scent tolerance and occasional shipping delays are factors to consider.

They perform as expected. I'll order again.

Good value
I like them — they help keep mosquitos and other blood-sucking bugs away. Would prefer longer burn time; mine lasted around 30–40 minutes.

More reliable than candles
I find these work better than citronella candles. I still use topical spray because I get bitten easily. The odor is herbal and a little medicinal, not floral. They include two holders and enough coils to last many uses.

Works, with a woody scent
Did last about 1.5 hours for me. Smelled slightly like cedar or wood smoke but kept flying insects away. Better than candle buckets and resisted wind.

Pleasant scent and effective
Nice fragrance and they do cut down on biting insects. I wish the burn lasted a bit longer, but they're inexpensive to replace. Used several evenings while reading and they helped.

Comes with two small stands
Good value. Placing them around a group reduced bugs. Surprised to see two little brown ceramic stands included. They lasted about 20 minutes and produced more smoke.

Unpleasant aroma
The scent was awful — sharp and animal-like to my nose. Each piece only burned briefly; flies loved it and mosquitoes seemed indifferent. Not for me.

Nice smell but fragile
Pleasant aroma, but the coils tend to break when you separate them.

Smell too strong
Didn’t meet my expectations — I still got bitten. Putting them on the ground or table helped a little, but the smoke and smell were overwhelming.
