High-efficiency single-action head
The termination head is shaped to seat a 90° C265 keystone and features a sharp blade that both seats the conductors and trims the excess in one motion. That single-step action lets you complete an 8-conductor punch and trim much faster than doing each wire individually.
Compatibility and form factor
This speed tool is made specifically for VCE C265-series right-angle keystone jacks — 90° CAT6A/CAT6/CAT5E modules that are UL-listed and have a slimmer profile than many legacy keystones. Their reduced width is intended for side-by-side installation in multi-port wall plates (Decora-style) and rack-mount patch panels without crowding adjacent ports.
No flat surface needed
Because the tool clamps and operates over the keystone itself, you can terminate jacks while they’re already seated in a patch panel or wall plate. There’s no need to remove a module or lay the jack on a workbench to punch down, so installations and field repairs are quicker and easier with one hand free to manage the cable.
Durable, replaceable blade
The cutting head is manufactured from SK5 tool steel for wear resistance and corrosion resistance. The blade assembly is removable, so when the edge dulls after heavy use you replace just the head rather than the entire tool.

Takes tuning but solid build
Out of the box I had to tweak the adjustment nuts to stop shaving plastic and to get clean cuts. Once adjusted it trimmed properly. The case fits a crimper and spares; the stripper is serviceable.
