SKATEWIZ 6-Piece Protective Pads — Knee, Elbow & Wrist Set with Carry Bag
Product description
What's in the kit: six protective pieces — two knee pads, two elbow pads and two wrist guards — plus a compact carry bag for transport and storage. The set covers the main impact zones you use for skating, skateboarding, scooting and biking.
Materials and construction: each pad combines a rigid outer shell with a foam and gel-like inner layer that disperses impact. The body of the guards is made from breathable textile to reduce heat buildup during activity, and reinforced stitching holds the components together for repeated use.
Sizing and fit: available in youth and adult sizes with a sizing chart to guide purchases. The pads use a slip-on sleeve combined with adjustable hook-and-loop straps so you can wear the sleeve alone, the straps only, or both for extra security. Sleeve diameters and strap lengths differ between sizes to fit wrists, elbows and knees of various ages and body types.
How to use: slide the sleeve over the joint, position the hard cap over the vulnerable area and fasten the Velcro straps to lock the pad in place. The sleeve adds slip resistance while the straps let you fine-tune tension. The included bag keeps the set together and easy to carry to practice sessions or weekend outings.
Pros
- Rigid outer caps with cushioning for impact protection
- Sleeve-plus-strap design stays in place during movement
- Includes carry bag for storage and transport
Cons
- Wrist guards can run large for smaller hands
- Some straps may feel short for wearing above the wrist
- Initial break-in can cause minor rubbing before softening
VerdictA well-rounded safety kit that balances coverage, comfort and adjustability. The hard outer caps and surrounding cushioning absorb knocks while the sleeve-style design and Velcro straps keep pads in place. Fit can vary by limb and some wrists run roomy, but responsive customer support and solid construction make this a dependable, value-oriented choice for recreational skaters and riders.

Plenty of padding and a storage bag
Thick padding makes these comfortable and durable for skating sessions. They include a bag, which is handy for storing the set between uses.

Holds up well; minor wrist sizing issue
I’ve taken a few hard tumbles and the pads are still intact. They rubbed a little at first but softened after a couple uses. Knees and elbows have full elastic sleeves for grip and comfort. The wrist guards’ straps almost reach their fastening end when tightened, so smaller hands might see excess strap while larger hands should be fine.

Strap length misses the intended position
The strap for the section above the wrist is too short, so tension pulls unevenly across the pad. The other strap fits fine, so swapping sizes throws off that balance. Also, the exposed inch of hook Velcro can scratch skin and snag fabrics. Seems like a simple design tweak could fix this.

Disappointing fit and quality compared to photos
Sizing was off: too small in places yet straps left too much excess in others. The real product didn’t match the picture and a cheaper alternative I tried felt better made.

Finally a set that fits my thighs
I’d tried two other brands before this and those dug into my thighs. I’m 5'4" and about 125 lb with a 17" thigh just above the knee; this adult large actually clears that area without creating a muffin-top. Each pad has a sleeve plus Velcro straps so you can use either or both; I use both. The wrist guards were a touch roomy but tightened fine. Elbows sit comfortably and when I pressed down the knee cushion felt noticeably soft and protective. Overall higher quality than my previous buys.

Flexible, protective and not restrictive
Bought for rollerblading after many years off skates. I like the rectangular cap shape rather than round bubbles. Sleeves slide on easily and the Velcro straps are adjustable. Movement feels natural and the hard shell plus surrounding padding give solid coverage. At 5'4" the adult size fits well; wrist guards feel solid too.

Functional but not heavy-duty
Advertised for adults but padding feels modest — not a heavy-duty protector. They perform adequately for casual use, though.

Lightweight, protective and confidence-boosting
Returning to inline after decades, I needed reliable pads. I took a hard fall onto the left knee pad and it felt like kneeling on a cushion — no skin scrapes or marks. Sleeves hold well and stay put. I’m 5'7", 185 lb and Large fits me nicely. These gave me the confidence to get back out there.

Excellent customer support fixed my wrist fit
I contacted the company about oversized wrist guards and they responded quickly. After I provided hand measurements they sent a medium wrist set that fits perfectly — and included knee and elbow pieces with it. The original large knee/elbow set I bought fit well, so their willingness to replace the wrist guards earned them a lot of points. I dock one star only because the initial wrist size was too big for me.

Good value and made with care
I chose these after comparing pricier brands and they impressed me. They’re manufactured in Germany, the sizing chart was accurate for my measurement and the Large fits snugly. Velcro seems durable and the padding feels substantial. Comfortable on initial try; long-term use will tell, but so far I’m happy.
