Love to Dream 2-in-1 Transition Bag (M, 1.0 TOG) — Grey
Product description
Composition and sizing: This sleep bag is made from a soft knit blend that is predominantly cotton (93% cotton) with a small amount of stretch for shape retention and comfort. The Medium size is intended for babies weighing roughly 13–19 lbs (about 6–8.5 kg); consult the manufacturer's size chart for height guidance before selecting a size. The bag pictured is a single 1.0 TOG garment in grey and ships as one transition bag (no additional accessories included).
Design and function: The signature feature is the zip-off wings that let caregivers leave one arm swaddled while freeing the other, preserving that familiar swaddled sensation while easing the move toward arms-free sleep. After a few nights with one wing removed, you can unzip the remaining wing so the product becomes a conventional sleepsack. The bag fastens with a dual zipper system that opens from the top or bottom to simplify overnight diaper changes.
Fit and safety: This design aims to keep fabric off the face by maintaining a snug fit at the shoulders while allowing room at the hips and legs for healthy movement. The stretch fabric offers a cozy, slightly resistant feel without loose blankets, which supports safer sleep. Different thickness options are available for temperature control; this particular model is 1.0 TOG, suitable for moderate room temperatures. As with all sleepwear, follow guidance on room temperature and layering to avoid overheating.
Care and use: Machine washable materials stand up to repeated laundering and retain their shape. The removable wings extend the useful life of the bag — use it as an arms-in transition swaddle, then convert it to a sleepsack as baby learns to roll and needs more freedom.
Pros
- Removable wings for staged arms-free transitions
- Soft, breathable cotton-rich fabric
- Dual zipper allows top or bottom opening for quick changes
Cons
- Can feel tight around hands for some babies
- Sizing depends on weight/height—some babies need a size up
- 1.0 TOG best for moderate temperatures only
VerdictA practical transition sleep bag that helps many babies reduce startle reflexes and sleep longer. The zip-off wings and stretchy cotton blend create a secure, arms-up feeling that can be converted to a standard sleepsack as baby grows. It’s thoughtfully designed for safety—snug at the shoulders, roomy at the hips—and the dual zipper speeds diaper changes. Fit can be snug for smaller hands and tall

Only thing that worked in crib
My son is large for three months and this fits him perfectly. He sleeps much better in it. We’ve kept the sleeves on since he isn’t rolling yet.

Very effective for our baby—comfortable, soft, and well made. We’re pleased with the quality.

Daughter loved having one arm free
This was our child’s go-to swaddle and helped her sleep through the night, though she grew very attached to that one-arm-in feeling and didn’t want it removed at first. Fabric held up in the wash and the size chart was accurate. Thin enough for all-season layering.

Great transition aid
This swaddle helped our son sleep longer and more peacefully during the transition period. Especially helpful for babies who are taller than average.

Recommended for transition
We used it to transition: removed one wing first and then the other after a few nights. It worked well for us.

Saved our sleep schedule
This transition bag stopped my baby’s startle reflex from waking her within minutes. The sleeves keep her arms up—her preferred position—while the fabric stays lightweight and breathable. I like that the wings unzip so it can become a sleepsack as she grows. Bought another one because it really worked for us.

Nice but slightly tight
Good quality and comfortable, though a bit snug around the hands for our baby.

Lightweight and convenient
We used this from four months after the classic swaddle; once we removed the arms it was ideal for spring and summer. The double zipper is very handy for diaper changes without removing the sack.

Perfect for rolling babies
We switched to this when our daughter started rolling. The chest stays snug while the bottom is roomy so she can move her legs safely. The stretch fabric lasted for months and the top/bottom zipper made midnight changes easy. Keeps her a comfortable temperature overnight.

Too restrictive for our baby
Poor fit for our child—felt overly tight and didn’t work for us.

Helped our 6-month-old sleep longer
After starting this bag and adjusting bedtime habits, our baby began sleeping through the night and taking longer naps. He prefers arms-up sleep and this gives him gentle resistance plus coziness. The wings unzip to convert it to a regular sleepsack. We sized up to Large for our tall 17 lb baby and it fit well.

Solid swaddle with thoughtful features
Likes: zippers instead of Velcro, option for arms-up, breathable fabric, and dual zipper for diaper changes. Dislikes: some restriction in arm movement. Compared to others we tried, this kept our baby secure and reduced startle wakes.
