Child Safety Cabinet Locks — 8-Pack No-Drill Adhesive Latches
Product description
What’s included: a set of eight adhesive safety latches with pre-applied 3M adhesive pads, plastic locking housings and flexible straps that lock into place.
Materials and dimensions: molded plastic housings with durable, flexible straps and high-bond 3M adhesive pads. Each latch measures roughly 7 inches (about 18 cm) fully extended and about 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide at the strap, suitable for common cabinet and drawer configurations.
How it’s used: Peel the protective film from the adhesive pad, press the housing and catch to the chosen surfaces, adjust strap length as needed, then snap the strap into the lock. No screws or drilling required, making them suitable for renters or quick installations. They’re designed for use on cabinets, drawers, doors, oven and appliance panels, and toilet lids. When removal is needed, peel gently — many finishes come away clean, though painted or delicate surfaces may lift paint. The manufacturer stands behind the product with a satisfaction policy allowing you to keep the items if not satisfied.

Purchased additional sets for the house
They perform as expected and are simple to use. Our curious cat found new ways to open doors so we added more; locking and unlocking is straightforward.

Keeps my cat out of the cabinets
No children here — bought to stop my cat from getting into drawers. They block access well, attach to most surfaces I tried, and have prevented her raids completely.

Does its job against pets
Bought to stop my cat opening kitchen doors; they seem sturdy and should tolerate normal pulling before failing.

Paint peeled when removing
Tried several removal methods and the paint lifted at every spot. Very unhappy with that result; would not recommend for painted cabinets.

Adhesion varies, a bit stiff to open
They wouldn’t stick well to my cabinet finish and the release is a little hard on my nails. Size and adjustability are good and when they adhere they feel durable.

Finally a lock my toddler can’t bypass
After trying many childproof options these are the only ones my four-year-old still can’t open. Simple, reliable and effective.

Toddler-proof and repositionable
Using these on lower cabinets and drawers to keep my toddler out. The latch mechanism is tricky enough that older kids take time to open. Installation was easy; I needed to lift and reapply one and it came off cleanly with gentle prying and stuck back firmly. Important: once you secure the strap length it won’t release for readjustment without changing the adhesive, so set the length first. Overall solid, good value and dependable.
