Adjustable Kids Basketball Hoop Stand — Indoor/Outdoor Youth Hoop
Product description
Stable triangular pole and fillable base: The stand uses a three-sided pole system and a heavy-duty plastic base that you stabilize by adding water or sand. This design reduces tipping during active play indoors or outside and supports hanging or dunking at child heights.
Adjustable for growing kids: The hoop adjusts by adding or removing pole sections to achieve four distinct height positions. It's intended for children roughly ages 3–8 and bridges the gap between toddler plastic hoops and taller youth systems. The backboard and rim are sized for small basketballs included in the set.
What’s included and power notes: The package ships with three small basketballs and a hand air pump so balls can be reused. A simple electronic scoreboard is attached to the backboard; it requires three AAA batteries (not included) to operate and tracks scoring for games.
Materials and use: The poles are metal with plastic connectors, the backboard and rim are molded plastic, and the net attaches with plastic hooks. Designed for quick play sessions, it’s suitable for living rooms, playrooms, patios and yards — move it as needed and refill the base for outdoor stability.
Assembly and play tips: Some setup is required with small hardware; use a proper screwdriver and tighten connections securely. Fill the base only after the stand is positioned. Supervision is advised for young players and occasional maintenance (retightening screws, checking battery contacts) keeps the scoreboard and hoop working longer.
Pros
- Four-height settings to grow with kids
- Triangular pole and fillable base for stability
- Includes scoreboard, three balls and a hand pump
Cons
- Scoreboard needs batteries and may miscount
- Assembly can be fiddly with small parts
- Balls are smaller than regulation size
VerdictA versatile youth hoop that grows with small children and comes with balls, a pump and a scoreboard. The triangular pole and fillable base make it steady for casual play, but assembly can be fiddly and the electronic counter may not always track accurately. Good for practice and family playdates.

Blue hoop handles indoor or outdoor play
My son wanted one for months. We use it inside now and can move it outside easily. The height adjusts to fit him and it came with three blue balls so he can practice shots.

Adorable but not long-lasting
Grandson loved the set and it was easy to assemble, but the counter stopped working in under a month. Lights still come on but it no longer registers shots, so it won’t survive heavy use.

Instructions weak but it performs
Assembly directions were sparse, yet once built it does exactly what we needed for indoor play.

Feels like a 'big kid' setup
Perfect for my 2-year-old grandson — looks more grown-up, feels sturdy and he really enjoys playing with it.

Significant safety and quality issues
I hoped this would be fun, but it arrived smaller than pictured and the base leaked. Sharp bolt edges and rough plastic trim felt hazardous for toddlers. Pole connections were loose, the net used thin plastic hooks, and the balls were cheap. Assembly required tiny tools and was frustrating, so I stopped trying to return it.

Good step up from toddler hoops
This is taller than simple toddler plastic hoops and a good transition to larger hoops. The included balls are smaller than a regulation ball but fit this rim well.

Not worth the assembly headaches
Reasonable value until you try to put it together. Parts arrived mismatched, some plastic supports were different sizes, and the scoreboard didn’t track consistently even with fresh batteries. One pole can’t reach the maximum height due to mismatched fittings—too annoying to bother with a return.
