Heavy-Duty Stainless Steel C-Stand with Boom Arm — 4.9–10.8 ft
Product description
Height range and components: The center column extends from approximately 4.9 ft (150 cm) up to 10.8 ft (330 cm), letting you position lights or modifiers at a wide variety of elevations. The package includes the main C-stand, an adjustable boom arm, and a grip head that secures rods and shafts.
Construction and finish: Built from 100% stainless steel, the stand is designed for long service life. Key joints have an electroplated finish that increases resistance to wear and corrosion while giving the metal a brighter appearance. The only non-metal parts are the protective foot caps.
Safety and operation: A built-in spring mechanism protects attached gear by controlling the descent during height adjustments, reducing the risk of drops. The boom arm offers full 360° rotation for flexible positioning and can be locked at the desired angle.
Compatibility and fittings: The stand provides both 1/4" and 3/8" threaded ends for broad compatibility with studio heads, monolights, softboxes, umbrellas, and other accessories. The supplied grip head has four holes to accept rods and shafts of varying diameters for multi-purpose mounting.
Use cases: Suitable for studio portraiture, product photography, small video shoots and location work, the C-stand supports lights, modifiers and accessories where a stable, height-adjustable rig is needed. Because of its weight and stainless construction, it performs well in environments where robustness and corrosion resistance are priorities.

Setup can be annoying
Not worth the hassle if you dislike fiddly assembly. Buy a sturdier C-stand instead; setup was a pain for me.

Sturdy construction
Robust and well made. I’d pick up another if I needed one. The carry bag can probably accommodate two stands, which is convenient.

Heavy-duty and dependable for hobbyists
I wanted a stand that would hold lights or a camera above subjects for photos and video. After trying clamps and table mounts that felt unstable, this stainless unit is a breath of fresh air. Nearly all parts are metal except the foot caps, so tightening and repositioning feels secure rather than fragile. It’s heavy and solid, which I appreciate for field or studio setups. For my casual and semi-pro needs it covers everything I require without fuss.

Good value option for a basic C-stand
If you need a functional C-stand without spending on premium brands, this one performs acceptably. The legs and main column feel stable and the threaded ends on the extension rod are handy for mounting threaded accessories. The grip head is only so-so: the knob isn’t the most comfortable and the jaws can rotate independently after loosening, so you have to realign them. Still, for routine use it’s serviceable.
