GSE 6-Deck Automatic Card Shuffler — AC/DC & Battery Operated
Product description
This GSE automatic card shuffler is supplied with the shuffler unit, an AC power adapter and a printed troubleshooting guide. The housing is molded plastic with a removable sliding cover over the card platform; the unit accepts cards through twin slots and mixes them automatically when the bottom-mounted switch is engaged.
The machine is powered either by the supplied AC adapter or by four C batteries (batteries are not included). The unit is sized at 8.25" long by 3.75" wide by 7.5" high, making it compact enough to store on a game shelf yet stable during operation.
Designed to shuffle multiple decks rapidly, the mechanism is intended to randomize cards for games such as bridge, poker, Texas Hold'em, blackjack, canasta, UNO and many trading-card or party games. New, flat cards glide and shuffle smoothly; excessively bent, warped or heavily worn decks may not feed correctly and can require manual adjustment.
Setup is straightforward: load the decks into the two feed openings, press the switch, and the machine cycles the cards into a mixed stack. If you prefer portable use, install four C batteries; for continuous play near an outlet, use the included AC adapter. Note: playing cards are not included.
Pros
- AC adapter plus battery operation for flexibility
- Quickly shuffles multiple decks with minimal effort
- Compact footprint fits most game tables
Cons
- Some plastic components feel lightweight
- May jam or misfeed warped or old cards
- Requires four C batteries for portable use (not included)
VerdictThis electric card shuffler offers flexible power options and can handle multiple decks quickly, making it convenient for home game nights. Assembly is minimal and the included AC adapter and instructions make setup simple. That said, some users report plastic parts that feel light and occasional misfeeds with worn or bent cards. It’s a practical choice if you need speed and hands-free mixing, but

Shuffled six decks without trouble
Very effective shuffler. Runs on batteries or power cable — handy when the lights go out.
-
Shirley 5/5
Faster than battery-only units
Performs quickly, but you must have it plugged in while it runs.
-
Sandy Dearing 5/5
Ready to deal quickly
So far it’s been reliable and easy to use.
-
Betty Coffman 5/5
Needs two people sometimes
Despite that, it does the job well.
-
Krons 3/5
Hit-or-miss quality
Works intermittently. Feels cheaply made and I had to open it to realign a feeder.
-
Sydney Hite 5/5
Worked fine with slick new cards
Used a few times with brand-new, very smooth cards; they slid around a bit. Hoping performance improves as cards wear in.
-
Bill 1/5
Disappointing build and performance
Plastic cover is awkward to reinstall and the card platform can stick. The power adapter is the most robust part. It sometimes just tumbles cards instead of feeding them properly.
