Cratree 15ft Certified 8K Ultra High-Speed HDMI Cable (48Gbps)
Product description
What’s included: one Cratree Certified 8K Ultra High-Speed HDMI cable, 15 feet (4.6 meters) in length, packaged with basic instructions.
Construction: The cable uses a full-core copper conductor and measures approximately 0.32 inches (8 mm) in thickness. The jacket is braided nylon with an added PVB protective layer for abrasion resistance and flexibility. Internal design includes four layers of shielding plus tin-plated elements to limit electromagnetic interference.
Connectors and plating: Each end features anti-oxidation 24K gold-plated HDMI connectors to improve contact reliability. Connectors undergo mechanical and functionality testing at the factory to ensure consistent performance.
Bandwidth and compatibility: Certified for 48Gbps total bandwidth, this cable supports 8K at 60Hz and 4K at 120Hz. It is plug-and-play and backward compatible with HDMI versions 2.0, 1.4, 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1. Also supports HDCP 2.2 and 2.3 for protected content.
Video and audio features: The cable carries 3D video, static and dynamic HDR, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Quick Media Switching (QMS) and multiple audio streams. It supports up to 32 audio channels, automatic audio sync and sampling rates up to 1536 kHz. Enhanced Audio Return Channel (eARC) is supported for high-resolution audio passthrough.
Use cases: Designed for HDTVs, gaming consoles (such as PS5/PS4 and Xbox), and high-performance GPUs (RTX 30-series and similar), the cable aims to deliver low-latency, high-fidelity A/V transmission over longer runs while resisting signal degradation thanks to the layered shielding and quality materials.
Pros
- Certified 48Gbps bandwidth for 8K/4K high-refresh use
- Durable braided jacket with multi-layer shielding
- Supports eARC, VRR, QMS and HDCP 2.2/2.3
Cons
- Relatively thick at 0.32 in (8 mm), can be stiff in tight spaces
- Single-cable length per purchase (no adapters included)
- May require careful routing due to rigidity over long runs
VerdictA well-built 15-foot HDMI cable that delivers the full 48Gbps bandwidth required for modern consoles and high-refresh displays. It combines robust physical protection with broad format support — 8K@60Hz, 4K@120Hz, eARC and advanced audio formats — making it a solid choice for home theaters and gaming rigs that need a long, reliable run.

Durable, quick, and economical
Bought another from the same maker after using one for nearly two years. The older cable handled 4K at 120Hz and full eARC audio without issue. This longer version is holding up so far — solid feel and sturdy connectors. Note: the jacket is thick, so give the connector room or add strain relief.

Delivered the advertised resolutions with no visible signal drop over a 50-foot installation. Flexible enough to route through walls and corners. Make sure to observe the marked source and display ends as the cable is directional. Very satisfied with the outcome.
