VerdictThese silicone airbag-style adhesive nose pads offer a simple way to restore comfort and adjust lens height. They’re made from pliable silicone with a teardrop profile and use strong 3M adhesive for immediate hold. For many wearers they lift lenses into a better optical position and relieve bridge pressure. However, the pronounced 3.2mm XTR thickness can be too bulky for some frames, and adhesive

Comfortable at first, but peel quickly
Made my expensive frames much more comfortable initially. I hadn't had them long, but like others I found they began coming off within about a week.

Great for bifocal wearers
I use bifocals and these added just enough lift to make it easier to look through the bottom portion of my lenses. They perform exactly as needed.

Relieved bridge soreness
The tiny air-filled pads eased pain at the bridge of my nose. They provided noticeable relief and were easy to apply.

Raised my lenses into the correct spot
I wear tri-focals without built-in pads and my computer viewing was too low. The thickness lifted the lenses so I look through the lower area for screen work. They were easy to apply and after using them nightly for a week I don’t notice them except for the improved height.

Too thick and visually obvious
They were far too thick, popped my glasses out, and aren’t transparent enough. They looked odd sticking out.

Works, but sits too high for progressives
They do stick and perform their function, but for my progressive lenses the added height pushed the frames up too far. I ended up discarding them.

Major improvement — saved my new glasses
My new prescription frames sat too low and everything looked warped. These pads lifted the frames so my pupils centered and vision returned to normal. Adhesive wears after a couple months, but they were essential. I clean frames with alcohol, let dry, and press pads on carefully.

Far too bulky and adhesive failed
Several pads detached from their backing before I could place them. One pair left glue on the original pad. These were excessively thick and made the glasses sit awkwardly — unusable for me.
