The rug features a 0.5" plush pile and measures approximately 0.75" in overall thickness. It carries OEKO-TEX certification, indicating it has been tested for harmful substances.
Design and use: The piece is fully reversible, offering two usable faces and extending service life by rotating sides. It is intended for use in front of sinks, tubs, or shower doors; a separate non-slip rug pad is not included but is strongly advised to keep the rug secure on smooth floors.
Care instructions: Because of the heavier weight and dense pile, frequent laundering is not required. To remove loose debris, vacuum gently (avoid beater bars) or shake outdoors. When laundering is needed, wash the rug alone on a gentle/low cycle and avoid high temperatures to limit shrinkage. Tumble-drying on low or air-drying is recommended to preserve pile. For a coordinated look, a matching 1000 GSM towel set is available separately.

Soft, thick and nicely neutral
These rugs are incredibly soft and have a substantial weight to them. The color is a true neutral with no yellow cast. I put one at the sink and a smaller one at the tub; both soak up water well. They’re heavy enough to stay in place without a rubber backing, and reversible, which is handy. Note: vacuum without a beater bar to avoid pulling the looped yarns.

High quality but heavy to launder
Beautiful and absorbent when dry, but problematic to wash at home. When saturated these get very heavy—so much that they can strain household machines. They dry slowly and aren’t bleach-safe; chlorine caused a bluish tint in spots. I ended up disposing of mine once they got dingy because home washing wasn’t practical.

Long-lasting comfort for my master bath
I bought three to match an older rug I’d kept for years. This one is well made, soft, and durable — I’ve used the style for many years and it lasts.
