Ferret
Dog Dental Gel Toothpaste — Plaque Remover & Breath Freshener
Product description
This pet dental gel is an alcohol-free, thicker formulation designed to reach deeper into the mouth and neutralize odor at the source. The gel blends peppermint, spearmint and aloe vera extract to gently freshen breath while helping to lift plaque and slow tartar accumulation. The formula is neem-free and intended to be safe and non-toxic for routine use.
Use is straightforward: apply the gel to a fingertip brush, dual-ended long toothbrush, or a soft child-sized toothbrush. Your dog’s natural licking action combines saliva and gel to coat tooth and gum surfaces; no rinsing is required. For many owners a nightly routine or daily application is recommended to preserve gum health, soothe mild irritation and support whitening over time.
The product is offered in multiple bottle sizes, including larger-volume options for multi-dog households or frequent use. Ingredients are professional-grade herbal extracts and oral-cleaning agents chosen for effectiveness and safety. The gel’s texture allows it to spread across teeth without running, and it foams slightly as it mixes with saliva to reach front and rear teeth.
Manufactured in the United States, the formula uses locally sourced, sustainably obtained components and is produced by a small family-owned company. The brand maintains an animal cruelty-free stance and ships in socially responsible packaging made from recycled materials; the outer packing is biodegradable. Veterinarians commonly recommend regular brushing paired with a quality dental gel to keep a pet’s mouth healthy.
If expectations aren’t met, the company offers customer support and stands behind the product’s quality. For best results, incorporate the gel into a daily dental routine and pair it with regular checkups and professional advice when needed.

My dogs actually enjoy it
Both of my dogs love this paste more than any I’ve tried. It helps control tartar and brightens breath noticeably. I’m disappointed it’s currently out of stock where I shop and I’m waiting for it to return so I can buy more.

Packaging arrived damaged
I was eager to try this gel on my little Shi-Poo, but the bottle arrived with a loose cap and some product leaked out. I’m hopeful the remaining gel still cleans well and will report back after a few uses.

Solid value and pleasant flavor
Good value and my dog doesn’t mind brushing, so the flavor must be appealing. The large bottle lasts a long time and the texture stays on the finger brush without running. It smells nice and is made in the U.S., which I appreciate.

Favorite toothpaste so far
I have two dachshunds, and dental care is important for this breed. I tried a few other gels but this one lasted longer and the thinner gel foams a bit so it spreads across the teeth. One of my dogs dislikes direct front brushing, but the foaming helps coat those teeth. I bought the larger bottle and brush their teeth every night; it lasted about three months. They enjoy the flavor and now wait at the bathroom door. I’ve reordered and will keep using it.

Repeat buyer, very satisfied
This is my second bottle. I use it alongside brushing and find it as effective or better than some small, expensive gels. Happy to support a family-run U.S. brand; it ships quickly and both dogs tolerate it well. The vet compliments how clean their teeth look.

Avoided a professional cleaning
The gel could cling a bit more to the brush, but it worked very well for me. I have several small dogs and professional cleanings are costly and stressful. After about a month of using this product (I pair it with a small spinning toothbrush), plaque on one dog visibly reduced—only a little remains on the far back molars. I’m relieved I didn’t need a vet procedure and will keep using this gel.
