Phono Turntable Preamp — Mini Stereo Phonograph Preamplifier
Product description
What it does: This compact preamplifier converts the tiny phono-level output from a turntable into a consumer line-level signal suitable for amplifiers, powered speakers, Bluetooth transmitters and other modern audio equipment that lack a dedicated phono input.
What’s in the box: The package includes the phono preamp unit, a DC 12V power adapter, and a brief multilingual user sheet. The unit provides stereo RCA inputs for the turntable and both stereo RCA and a balanced 1/4" TRS output to feed a variety of downstream devices.
Design and materials: The chassis is a lightweight mix of metal and molded plastic with a compact footprint — approximately 4 x 2.5 x 1 inches — so it tucks into tight setups. Front and rear labeling marks the inputs, outputs and grounding post for straightforward connection.
Electronics and performance: Built around low-noise operational amplifiers, the preamp applies RIAA equalization and gains the phono signal up to line level while aiming to keep additional noise to a minimum. It accepts standard moving-magnet (MM) cartridge outputs and routes the amplified signal out via RCA or TRS connectors.
How to use: Plug the turntable’s RCA cables into the unit’s RCA inputs, attach the preamp’s outputs to your amplifier, powered speaker or transmitter using RCA or a TRS cable, and connect the included 12V DC adapter to power the unit. A ground terminal is provided to reduce hum when needed.
Support and coverage: The manufacturer supplies a 30‑day return window and a one‑year limited warranty covering defects under normal use.

- No adjustable gain or EQ presets
VerdictA small, straightforward phono preamp that delivers clean, amplified line-level signals from moving-magnet cartridges. It uses low-noise operational amplifiers to preserve vinyl detail, provides both RCA and TRS outputs for flexible hookup, and ships with a 12V DC adapter and basic warranty coverage. Quiet and effective
Performs quietly and reliably. It boosts my vinyl to line level and I’m enjoying my old turntable again.

Promising but noisy on some records
Output is strong and fairly neutral, but mine had a noticeable low-frequency hum in both channels even with the ground hooked up. During loud music it’s fine, but quiet passages reveal the hum, so I returned it.

Correcta pero…
Si tu tornamesa ya tiene preamplificación integrada, no lo compres. Cumple su función, pero no añade nada más que la preamplificación básica.

Good for reviving an old player
Simple unit with no extras that revived my 40‑year‑old turntable. I avoided cheaper alternatives because of humming reports — this one has behaved well so far.

Acceptable for the money
Model: Basic Preamp (no power switch). Works well enough but the case is very light and feels budget. You get what you pay for. Note: say which variant you bought when leaving feedback so others know which unit you mean.

Connected legacy gear to a modern speaker
Served as the link between an old turntable, a vintage receiver and a modern portable speaker so a teen could play records. Simple cabling and it worked as intended.

Handy solution for receivers without phono
Small, easy to hook up and includes a ground terminal. Sound is solid and it fills the gap for receivers that lack a phono input.

Needed to feed a Bluetooth transmitter
Used it to raise my turntable output so a Bluetooth transmitter could work. It did the job and sounded better than expected for a temporary setup.

Surprisingly quiet and clear
Straightforward setup and the manual covers multiple languages. The included adapter appears low-ripple — the unit stayed quiet. Hooked it to an old deck and the sound was pleasantly good.
